“My National Parks” is an online exhibition made by a community of students, working in conjunction with the Geographic Alliance of Iowa, from the University of Northern Iowa’s Introduction to Museum Studies class and Iowans who have visited National Park Service sites. In this exhibition, we consider sites managed by the National Park Service directly and those affiliated sites in our locale that are part of Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. The exhibition expresses personal narratives of experiences through photographs and objects from those sites.
